Death Stranding 2: On The Beach

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is set approximately a year after the events of the first game, taking the story to Australia this time. Players once again assume the role of Sam Porter Bridges, trying to connect isolated individuals in the shattered world through the chiral network. The game maintains its delivery-based gameplay under the shadow of environmental threats and expands the narrative to a broader geography.

Sony announced that they are collaborating with Kojima Productions for the PC version and the porting process will be handled by Nixxes Software, a Dutch studio acquired by Sony in 2021.

The PC version of the game will offer a wide range of technical options. It will support 4K resolution and remove the upper limit on frame rates. Additionally, it will feature support for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS-based upscaling and frame-generating technologies, aiming to provide a smoother experience on different hardware configurations.

Sony Releases New Modes for PC Version

Sony announced that they will release “new modes and features” for both PC and PlayStation 5 alongside the PC launch, although the details of these modes have not been shared yet. However, it is indicated that new challenges and special rewards will be added to the game. Similar to the Director’s Cut version that followed the original Death Stranding, additional missions and equipment are expected to be included in this version as well.
